A tradition carried forward

I've been painting pisanice for over thirty years, using techniques I learned growing up in Croatia. It's a slow process — layering dye, drawing fine patterns with a tiny brush, building up color step by step. Each egg takes hours, sometimes days.

This gallery is a way for my work to live somewhere beyond our family shelves. Seventy-three eggs and counting.
